• 3-star category at Munich Airport (40km from Munich City Center)
• 177 non-smoking guestrooms
• 4 meeting rooms
• 1 breakfast-restaurant
• TOUCHDOWN sports bar & restaurant (serves international classics such as homemade pizza and hamburgers)

The hotel is located at a distance of 4km from Munich Airport.
The shuttle bus commutes every 30 minutes from the hotel to the airport.

All guestrooms are air-conditioned.
The entire hotel is equipped with wireless internet access.
The hotel team consists of app. 30 employees.
Housekeeping as well as shuttle-services has been outsourced.

IMPORTANT:

We are not looking for a chef but for a cook with 2-3 years of experience.
We can only consider CVs in English or German.


As a Cook, you will assist in food preparation and organisation within the kitchen.
You will contribute by preparing and presenting international dishes at a high standard.
Maintaining the high requirements of German hygiene standards is also a focus.


YOUR DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Running the kitchen routine as 1 of 2 cooks
• Production of excellent food for our customers
• Creative menu planning for meeting groups
• Control and enforcement of hygiene parameters
• Encouragement of teamwork in the kitchen and between the kitchen and service
• Support and control of purchasing for the kitchen
• Contribution to a positive work atmosphere, being a role model for colleagues
• 5 shifts a week, 8 hours a day


OUR EXPECTATIONS:
• Previous experience of working in a kitchen ideally within a hotel environment
• To be passionate about food and cooking
• Organizational talent and performance
• Personal responsibility
• To be committed to work hard and as part of a team

• Decent spoken English and ideally some German
